Black Lake - the lake with the best sapropelic mud and the most concentrated salt water among the lakes arranged in Sovata - was OPEN for bathing. (so far only bathing is allowed in the outdoor pool arranged inside).

In the Black Lake complex you can bathe in the OUTDOOR POOL with heated and filtered salt water at a temperature between 27-30 degrees Celsius or in the BLACK LAKE (salt water with a natural temperature of about 25-28 degrees Celsius).

The lake was recently RENOVATED and OPEN to the public for bathing starting with the 2019 summer season.

In the TREATMENT BASE of the complex you can benefit from mud packs and numerous other rheumatological and gynecological treatments specific to Sovata resort.

The swimming pool also offers a restaurant with 90 seats on site and a day bar.
